Psychonauts – Recruiting Goggalor
Psychonauts is an insane video game! I recently bought it for my PS2 because a friend raved about it. He played it on PC, so the PS2’s graphics are shockingly bad in comparison. I bought it as a collector’s item.
I love this particular cutscene; in a level in the game where your avatar/ protagonist Raz stomps through a miniature Japan-esque city of lungfish people. I laugh so much at these charismatic characters. They are hilarious yelling “freedom!” Their mouths flapping at a horrendous hinge with their disgusting diseased eyes! Everyone has to play this game, stat!

I really need to get this game as well. Every, and I mean EVERY gaming publication uses this game as an example of how some of the most amazing games ever made … go completely unnoticed by the gaming masses.
Sad thing is … I havent purchased it either … you might push me over the edge here.

I bet another example was Beyond Good and Evil.
Ebay is your friend.

“I am the Milkman…”
I’m playing the PS2 version as well but I’ve noticed it’s extremely buggy at times, where I’d loose sound or the soundtrack might go off, and you’d just hear sound effects. I’m actually getting to the point where the game freezes too. Despite all that, I’m digging the game too!

Really? Is yours that buggy? I’m past the milkman part now but I haven’t experienced any bugs. Maybe it’s your PS2? I’m playing more of it now I have free time
Thanks so much for the comment.

Actually, now it is buggy… The game locked up on a friend recently and in the Napoleon level the background music was stuck. Ah, not the worst I’ve seen
Ie: Guild Wars in the first couple months after release.
